Dreams of Tuscany

Day 1 - After meeting at the airport, we check into Villa Lecchi and enjoy a wine and cheese reception. Dinner tonight is with the group, a gastronomic welcome to Italy.

Day 2 - Today we taste wine in the Montalcino area, famous for its Brunello wine. Lunch is at the wine estate of Castello Banfi, in their elegant restaurant. This afternoon we visit La Fortezza, a 14th century fortress and enjoy some free time in Montalcino. Dinner is on your own.

Day 3 - Today we head to Montepulciano and have a cooking lesson at Avignonesi wine estate. Following the class we enjoy a tasting of their wines. Enjoy free time in Montepulciano to stroll the cathedral and quaint streets.

Day 4 - Our tour takes us down La Chiantigiana today, where we will enjoy two tours and tastings of Chianti and lunch in the vines. This afternoon we stop in San Gimignano where you will get free time to wander this town of towers. Tonight we check into our hotel in Florence. Dinner is on your own.

Day 5 - This morning starts with an early morning walking tour of Florence, possibly its most beautiful time of day. We will see most of the famous sights including the Ponte Vecchio, Il Duomo and as well stop in at the Uffizi gallery for a tour. Lunch and dinner are on your own.

Day 6 - Today is your free day to tour and shop the fabulous outdoor markets Florence is so famous for. Dinner tonight is with the group.

Day 7 - Departure for airport.
