Wine Escapes
Enjoy small group travel and personal service on tours of 6 - 20 people.
Touring the great food and wine routes of Europe is an exciting and
unique way to discover new favorites or visit old ones again. Sharon
Assis, one of the owners of Wine Escapes, has over 12 years experience
escorting groups through Europe. She travels regularly to wine regions,
constantly striving to bring the quaintness and charm that is Europe
to our tours. She invites you to join Wine Escapes and discover our
passion!
Food
With Wine Escapes taste regional specialties and discover centuries
old wine routes. On days where we are in the country or a small town,
lunches are enjoyed with the group. Some lunches, see us dining in the
winery itself! These exceptional lunches have every course paired perfectly
to the wine you are enjoying. In most cases, dinners are on your own.
This gives you the opportunity to choose where to dine - some days you
may need a slice of pizza after a fabulous winery lunch and other days,
you may crave something more. As well, many of the wine tastings are
accompanied by hors d'oeuvres specialties of the region.
Culture and Charm
We focus on the major cultural and historical highlights of the region.
Entrance fees to a museum or a top site as well as a city tour are included
in your package. The charm of small town Europe is discovered as we
travel off the main auto routes, and onto roads where we meander through
fields and rolling hills, as we give you a taste of a slower life when
you have time to stop and smell the roses. Enjoy an all-encompassing
European vacation with Wine Escapes.
Custom Tours
Wine Escapes will design a privately escorted adventure chalk full of
food & wine, and charm & culture for groups of eight or more
travelers. You set the pace. Our customs tours are based on your preferred
level of hotel. You choose how many wineries, cooking classes, and the
number of historical sights you'd like to see. For an exciting and unique
holiday experience let us help you in choosing a region. May we suggest
France Alsace, Burgundy, Champagne, or maybe southern Spain to Seville
and Jerez the Sherry region, or perhaps Germany for bratwürst and
Riesling as you wind your way down the Mosel River. Travel with us to
Europe's Food & Wine Routes - taste sensations awaiting to be discovered.
